Raleigh (North Carolina, USA) / Schmitten (Hesse, Germany) - September 16, 2026 — Lineos today announced the availability of its AI-driven platform that gives finance teams a single line of sight across the full finance workflow in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). Built on insightsoftware's decades of finance software expertise, Lineos connects the full finance workflow, from planning and forecasting to close, compliance, and reporting, to surface insights that drive action.
For many DACH organizations, financial close still requires weeks of manual work spread across multiple entities and systems. Lineos brings these processes into a connected workflow, using AI to surface issues in real time to provide finance teams with outputs they can trust and mindshare to spend shaping decisions.
"Close and consolidation is where the pain is greatest in DACH, but the real value emerges when it connects to planning and reporting," said Jennifer Warawa, President, Lineos. "We're launching the full platform because CFOs need to see how changes in the forecast flow through to close and impact reported results. Starting with close gives teams immediate ROI while they discover the compounding benefits of Lineos."
In addition to close and consolidation, Lineos offers financial planning, account reconciliation, reporting intelligence, and disclosure management capabilities. Each module operates independently but gains compounding value when more financial processes run through Lineos, where AI operates at each step of the financial workflow.
Lineos brings automation, intelligence, and control to every stage of the close and consolidation process:
Automated close and consolidation for currency conversions, intercompany eliminations, equity adjustments, and journal entries, all handled automatically with pre-built business rules and guided workflows.
AI anomaly detection where AI validates data throughout the close, enabling teams to fix errors in real-time.
Connect actuals to planning and reporting without manual handoffs or version conflicts; when reporting is adopted, numbers flow seamlessly.
Built-in compliance and audit readiness for IFRS and multi-GAAP configurations, complete audit trails, and board-ready reports to create confidence.
50+ pre-built consolidation scenarios provide proven configurations ready to deploy without building logic under pressure.
200+ system connectors, including native integrations with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and other platforms.
Finance-led configuration features a point-and-click interface with no IT dependency or coding required.
Enterprise-grade security and governance aligning with ISO 27001, SOC 1, and SOC 2 certification, ensuring data is protected, access is controlled, and governance requirements are followed.
The expansion builds on insightsoftware’s established presence in the DACH region. IDL Konsis remains available for organizations prioritizing a dedicated close and consolidation solution. Existing Konsis customers using the Open Business Data Fabric (OBDF) can unlock new capabilities with Lineos, which is designed for finance leaders looking to unify planning, close, and reporting across a single, AI-powered platform.
