Installation and Configuration
With Insight Administrator, the implementation of an ERP productivity tool is encompassed in a quick and painless install that lasts less than hour. Friendly, easy-to-use wizards guide users through everything from ERP connection to profile preferences with validation along the way. Ongoing maintenance is essentially non-existent. If the business grows or changes in the future, Insight Administrator options can be updated with a few clicks.
User Management
Whether you are dealing with a couple users or a couple thousand, Insight Administrator provides tools to synchronize user lists and their related groups directly with the ERP. Custom groups can also be added to extend or alter how users are organized for management and permissions. Once defined, it can be configured to “view as user” to confirm what each user is able to access.
Access Controls
Organizations require sophisticated levels of access controls to ensure that the system is not compromised. This includes everything from passwords to the permissions associated with reports (e.g. view, change, delete, etc.), and to what functions and features are available. Insight Administrator allows all this to be defined and reported on a user, group or public level. Auditing, Search & Archiving
A complete set of auditing and logging options allow Insight Administrator users to monitor user activity, report performance and error identification. There are also flexible search and result output options based on attributes such as business area, last modified by, last changed date and more. Unused or obsolete items can be quickly selected and archived to keep the system tidy and relevant.
