What happens when I download the software?
The software automatically installs and runs after it has been downloaded.
How do I use the software?
Once the software runs, you need to certain pieces of information to log in. You will need an E-Business Suite Database username and password. This should provide you with access to tables in the RG Schema and optionally to the "PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F" table in the HR Schema. You will also need the Host Name, Service Name or SID & Port # of your EBS Server. Some of this information you may already be in possession of. Some information you will need from your IT or ERP Support Specialist.
Once this information is validated, the Integrity Checker will take a few moments to analyze your FSG reports to produce a summary. If you select the "View Full Report" button, you will be presented with an additional screen, which submits your results to our report processor on our Web site
What data do we (InsightSoftware.com)access and how do we do it?
We access only the tables related to the FSG data structures. We don't access any of your financial data, nor do we access data related to the E-Business Suite environment. We only access the data within the FSG data structure in read-only mode. Additionally, we do not modify any of the data within your system.
Will running the FSG Integrity Checker modify any of my FSG reports?
No. The integrity checker simply reads the data tables that store the FSG information. No changes are made to the report definitions or the tables storing them.
Is the FSG Integrity Checker secure?
Yes. The tool logs-on to your E-Business Suite database with the credentials you provide. This information is only used for the purposes of logging on and running the inquiries necessary to provide the FSG Health Check report.
Do I need to provide my personal details to use the tool?
No. We require no information prior to downloading, installing and running the tool. If you request a more detailed report, please provide us with your name, organization and e-mail address. However this is an additional service and you are not obligated to use it.
What steps do I take if I do NOT want to receive a full report?
The full report is primarily for your benefit. It provides more detailed information about your FSG reports. If you do not wish to recieve further information, do NOT press the "View Full Report" button and close the tool. You may utilize the summary report within the tool itself.
If I request a full report, what information is sent to our web site?
Summary information is sent to our Web report processor. This includes the names of your FSG reports, row sets, etc. We do NOT transfer any login information and any information about your E-Business Suite environment. Additionally, we do NOT transfer FSG report definitions or any financial data concerning your organization.
What information is stored when a full report is requested from our (InsightSoftware.com) Web site?
The summary information (outlined above) is stored only to generate your report; it is not shared or viewed by anyone (unless you choose to share the report URL with others). We only store basic aggregate information. We store no details of the reports themselves or any information regarding your E-Business Suite set-up. The aggregated information is used within our organization to help improve the FSG Integrity Checker and to generate a global statistic of the general integrity of FSGs.
Can I continue to use the FSG Integrity Checker after I have downloaded it?
Yes. It's a free tool for you to use as frequently as you would like. When we provide updates, you will be notified when you open and utilize the software.
Can I share the software with other FSG users or other companies using Oracle E-Business Suite?
