DISCLAIMER
THE FSG INTEGRITY CHECKER TOOL DETERMINES YOU FSG HEALTH SCORE AND AT RISK SCORE USING A PROPRIETARY CALCULATION FORMULATED AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE SOFTWARE AUTHORS BASED ON THEIR JUDGMENT ALONE. THE FACTORS MEASURED ARE SELECTED BY THE SOFTWARE AUTHORS AND DO NOT REPRESENT ALL THE FACTORS WHICH MAY CAUSE OR IDENTIFY FSG ERRORS OR ISSUES. THE FSG INTEGRITY TOOL IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE USED AS THE SOLE INDICATOR OR REMEDY TO IDENTIFY OR FIX FSG ISSUES NOR SHOULD IT BE USED AS A GUARANTEE THAT ALL FSG’S ARE ERROR FREE REGARDLESS OF WHAT IS STATED IN THE FSG INTEGRITY REPORT.
The FSG Health Score is determined by subtracting marks from a starting 100% score based on errors and omissions being detected within the FSG report evaluation sample. An overall score of 70% or more represents a high health score and is shown in green. An average health score is a mark between 50% and 70% and is shown in yellow. A low health score is shown in red and is attained by achieving a score of less than 50%.
The overall health score is affected by Sections 2 and 4 in the integrity report, together the "# of At Risk Reports (Reports Prone to Error)" mark in Section 1.
Section 2 can affect up to 60% of the score. Sections 2.1 to 2.3 determine a points deduction based on the number of row sets in each report matching the criteria of each section as a percentage of the total number of FSG row sets. In each section, if 0-1% of row sets meet the section criteria then zero points are deducted. 1-5% results in 4 points deducted. 5-10% causes an 8-point deduction. 10-15% is a 12-point deduction and finally a 15+% score results in a 16-point reduction. In each section, if the total number of FSG row sets in each report that meet the section criteria is zero, then an 'OK' mark is given and shown in green. If the number is greater than zero then a 'Problem' mark is given and shown in red.
Section 2.4 does not affect the overall score since it represents a summary of section 2.1 to 2.3. Section 2.5 works on the same principle as sections 2.1 to 2.3, but with different thresholds. A perfect score of 0% results in a zero point deduction. 1-5% of reports that meet the section criteria result in a 4-point deduction. 5-10% is an 8-point reduction and 10+% is a 12-point deduction. In both sections 2.4 and 2.5, if the total number of row sets in FSG reports that meet the section criteria is zero, then an 'OK' mark is given and shown in green. If the number is greater than zero then a 'Problem' mark is given and shown in red.
Section 4 can affect the FGS Health Score by up to 20% of the score. Sections 4.1 and 4.2 determine a point deduction based on a percentage of reports matching the criteria of each section as a percentage of the total number of FSG reports. In each section, if 0-5% of reports meet the section criteria then zero points are deducted and is shown in green as a low score. A score of 5-20% results in a 4-point deduction for Section 4.1 and a 6-point deduction for Section 4.2. This is an average score and is shown in yellow. A score of 20+% results in an 8-point deduction for Section 4.1 and a 12-point deduction for Section 4.2. This is a high score and is shown in red.
The # of At Risk Reports (Reports Prone to Error) item in Section 1 can affect up to 20% of the FSG Health Score. It determines a point deduction based on a percentage of reports matching the criteria of each section as a percentage of the total number of FSG reports. If 0-5% of reports meet the section criteria then zero points are deducted and is shown in green as a low score. A score of 5-10% results in a 10-point deduction. This is an average score and is shown in yellow. A score of 20+% results in a 20-point deduction. This is a high score and is shown in red. This item also determines your "At Risk" score. The total points deducted in this section are expressed as a subtraction from 20 (20 represents the total percentage deduction in this section affecting your FSG Health Score). An At Risk mark of between 0-5 represents a high At Risk score and is shown in red. A mark of 5-15 is an average at risk score and is shown in yellow. A mark of 15+ is a low-risk score and is shown in green.
Section 3 does not affect either the FSG Health Score or At Risk Score. Rather it provides further details of the "At Risk" factors independently of the At Risk Score. Sections 3.1 to 3.3 determine a grade based on the number of reports matching the criteria of each section as a percentage of the total number of FSG reports. In each section, if 0-5% of reports meet the section criteria a low risk score is achieved and is shown in green. A score of 5-10% results in an average risk score and is shown in yellow. A score of 10+% results in a high-risk score and is shown in red.
Section 5 does not affect either the FSG Health Score or the At Risk Score and provides purely statistical information regarding your FSG usage within your organization. Items in Section 1 other than the # of At Risk Reports (Reports Prone to Error) item do not affect the FSG Health Score or the At Risk Score. Grading of these items into low, average and high is based on proprietary information.
